One Beautiful Mercury

Jimmy Trovarrelli's 1949 Mercury Coupe

This is the way they cruised Mercurys back in the day!

This Car was bought by Jimmy on Father's Day 1995 and How appropriate that it's Cas' Classic Choice on this Friday before Father's day 2006. 

This car was a join effort between father and son.  Dad being a mechanic and son (Jimmy Jr) being a body man.

They brought it home and removed the flat head 8 and replaced it with a 350 Chevy and a Turbo 350 Transmission.

Hours of body work and block sanding and an eye for perfection was topped with a Black Cherry paint job.

The interior is all original 1949 Merc as well as the dashboard.  A tilt steering wheel added so modern comforts as well as power steering, power brakes and a CD player.

Jimmy You Truly have a beautiful classic
