In Loving Memory Of Redman Strumpf

Who Passed On April 1, 2006 at 69

He will be missed by all three of his daughters

Tonight was a bitter sweet choice.  Susan Longo is very proud of her 1974 Monte Carlo.  She is also sadden by the fact that her Dad wasn't here to enjoy it.  She told me of his love for Monte Carlos, between wiping her tears for her Dad.  But in his love of Monte Carlo's came her love of the Monte also.

Her first car was a 1973 Monte and now she's back in the driver's seat again.  Her and her husband Paul found it in the northern part of Connecticut with 75, 000 original miles and all matching numbers.  It has the original 454 cu in engine backed up by a Turbo 400 transmission and a 10 bolt rear.  Paul installed new carpets and seat covers and rally wheels.  The dash board was all redone and an under the dash 8 track tape player installed, but Paul says he's looking for an original in dash 8 track to replace it.  I also understand Susan is looking for the Eagle's Hotel California on 8 track tape.  Anyone got a copy?  Susan says Paul did a wonderful job putting it together for her.

The Longo family was all there cruising together.  Paul, Susan Daniel and Sean.

Susan You truly have a beautiful classic
