John Mangini and His 1966 Nova SS

This Car has been in the family since it was new.  John's uncle bought it new and then sold it to his father.  It was purchased as a 6 cylinder Nova with the SS option.  John's dad let him start driving it in 1970.  he thought it would slow John down, but when john became the owner of this sweet ride, he bought a 327 L79 350 hp motor from Chevy made for the Nova.  He paid a whopping $389.00 in 1974 and after four engines getting "lost" on the way to the dealer he finally got one. The car was originally maroon but John painted it in 1990.  he's added some custom work to the dash and plans a disc brake conversion next year.
