Ed and Rose Sheehy

And their beautiful 1961 Ford Sunliner

I remember sitting home on the porch as a young lad watching cruisers like this go down the street, top down, girl snuggled close to the driver and wishing I was the one driving that cool ride.

Ed and Rose are from Derby, married 41 years and owned this Beautiful 1961 Ford Sunliner for 16 years. They still look cool cruising in it.

Ed said it has been totally restored. He is the second owner of this car. He picked it up, drove it home and has been working on it for 16 years. It has about 150,000 original miles. It is powered by a 352 cubic inch engine, has Cherry Bomb mufflers (glass packs) and Lake pipes, power steering, window etchings, a fully louvered hood, a finely detail spotlights which offset the black paint job and the original red interior. Ed says it has a white top (second one) which I don’t think he likes to use much
