Back in the mid 1990s, Don’s search for a car took him to many parts of the country as far away as Texas. They wanted a 53 Olds and that was that. After searching for a

Couple of years, a friend told Don about an Oldsmobile that was in Shelton... only a few miles from home. " It only needs a coat of wax and it’s ready to go", he was told.

After 2 years of work, the waxing was done along with a total rebuild. Don did the all mechanical work, had the body and interior done and started showing this beauty in 2000.

Logging more than 25000 miles in 5 years, this car goes to many local cruises as well as

Massachusetts and New York twice a year, and Cincinnati, Ohio. At the Oldsmobile shows, Don and Ruth have taken first and second places many times. It’s also AACA 1^st Junior registered. A fine ride....... Thoroughly enjoyed by all who see it.
